Disability Accommodation Appeal Application
California State University, Northridge is committed to removing barriers for persons with disabilities. It is also California State University policy, Policy for the Provision of Accommodations and Support Services to Students with Disabilities (AA 2014-08) and Executive Order 1111, to make programs, services and activities accessible to students, faculty, staff and the general public with disabilities who visit or attend a campus-sponsored event. The policies are in accordance with applicable state and federal laws including, but not limited to, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended 2008 (ADAAA); Sections 504 and 508 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended; and applicable state laws including but not limited to the Donahoe Higher Education Act, Education Code sections 67302, 67310-13 and sections 11135 and 12926 of the Government Code.
In the event a dispute arises regarding the provisions of accommodations, there is a process in place for students to pursue solutions.
